Meet the Queen Family

Wanda, Larry and their 3 children: Melissa, Daniel and Valerie.

All three of Larry and Wanda's children have been stricken with Muscular Dystrophy. Wanda has a mild form herself, and also has arthritis from years of lifting her children.

The Queen's home is small; no area of the home is wheelchair accessible. The youngest daughter Valerie is totally unable to walk and is forced to sit on the floor and scoot around the house on her backside as her wheelchair will not clear doorways or hallways nor will it fit into her room.

The Queen family also does not have the ability to eat dinner as a family since the home does not have a dining room or any sort of eating space in their small kitchen. It is the dream of the Queen family to have their home made wheelchair accessible and a dining area added so they can enjoy family dinners together.
